Marketplace Drop-off and Pick-up

Selling locally through on-line marketplaces like Facebook and Kijiji can be very successful.  It can also be incredibly frustrating and time consuming.  Many sales are missed because schedules don't line up or your location doesn't work for the buyer.    

Market Frog provides a convenient and safe place to help you and your buyers complete a sale.  Sellers post items on their own on-line accounts, interact with buyers and make their own deal.  Rather than having customers come to your home or meet in a parking lot, sellers drop off sold items at our Market Frog store where buyers can then pick up their item at a time that is convenient for them. 

Our service makes the on-line transaction easy and stress free.  No more waiting for buyers to come to your door, or not show up at all.  Safe, convenient and far less time consuming than a regular marketplace sale. 

If needed, Market Frog can collect and process payments from buyers on behalf of sellers (additional fees will apply).

The Process

1. Seller posts their items on-line and makes a deal with a buyer.
2. Seller collects payment from their buyer using e-transfer (recommended)
3. Seller drops off the item at our Market Frog Store, fills out a claim ticket and sends the buyer a photo of the items claim ticket.
4. Seller is responsible for paying the Market Frog fee of $3 per item when they drop off the item.  
5. Buyer has 7 days to present the photo or printed version of the claim ticket at the Market Frog store and receive their item.
6. Market Frog will notify the seller that the item has been successfully picked up by the buyer. 

Terms, Conditions and Fees

1. $3 for standard sized items (oversized items may have extra fees) paid by the seller when the item is dropped off at the Market Frog store. 
2. Buyers have 7 days to claim their items, storage fees may apply after 7 days.
3. Cash on Delivery may be available where buyers can pay by cash or debit when picking up their item.   Market Frog charges 5% of the items sale value for this service which will be deducted from the amount dispersed to the seller.  This in in addition to the $3 per item fee.   
4. Market Frog reserves the right to refuse any item.  Items must be unboxed and be easily identifiable when dropping them off at the Market Frog store.
