Stiff, Strong & Heat Resistant: PolyMide PA12-CF nylon filament is a carbon fiber reinforced PA12 (Nylon 12) filament. The carbon fiber reinforcement enhances stiffness, strength, and heat resistance with excellent layer adhesion (Heat Deflection Temperature: 131°C at ISO 75, 0.45 MPa). Due to its stiffness, a proper setup is essential to ensure smooth feeding and avoid excessive bending in the filament guide system.
Low Moisture Sensitivity & Warp-Free: PA12's low moisture sensitivity maintains outstanding mechanical and thermal properties, even after moisture conditioning. It offers excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Coupled with Warp-Free technology, this carbon fiber reinforced nylon filament is ideal for creating manufacturing tools.
Tangle-Free & Resealable Bag: Our PA12-CF nylon filament is carefully wound to prevent tangling, dried, and vacuum sealed in a resealable ziplock bag with desiccant. Always hold the filament tip to avoid nodes, and use the holes on the spool to help prevent this issue.
Cardboard Spool: Now comes in upgraded 3.0 packaging featuring a fully recycled cardboard spool and box.
Printing Settings - Nozzle Temperature: 260-300°C; Bed Temperature: 25-50°C; Speed: 30-60 mm/s. Annealing: 80°C for 6 hours (Recommended for improved heat resistance of your printed part). Bed Surface: Compatible with almost any surface using a thin coat of PVA glue or Magigoo PA.
